Ian Bates (born 28 September, 1993) is a lifelong Florida resident, aspiring author, wearer of red shirts, and certified internet meme. His stories focus on strange circumstances, stranger characters and the outlandish humor which ensues. There is no swearing or sexual situations in these works but the stories may utilize forms of dark humor above what one would expect in a “children’s book.” They are targeted towards mature children and childish adults alike.

He is also writing this in the third person because that is how “About the Author” blurbs are written on the backs of novels.
